The number of forced marriages in East Anglia is rising, according to new government figures.
In 2012, 29 forced marriages were investigated in the region, with that number rising to 45 last year.
At the moment, it is only a civil offence – which means the police do net get involved.
Mariam Issimdar has been talking to one woman who went into hiding to escape being forced into marriage.
