Honour, enmity devour seven lives separately

Seven persons including two women were killed in different incidents of honour killing, enmity and other mishaps over the past 24 hours.
According to details, in Sheikhupura, the security guard of an electronic appliances manufacturing factory along with his wife were shot dead by some unidentified assailants on GT Road near Khori here on Sunday.
According to reports, Malik Gul Khan, a resident of Dir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was performing duty while his wife Shamsul Qamar was also present in the factory. In early hours of Sunday, unidentified assailants entered the factory by scaling boundary and shot dead the couple. The Muridke Saddr Police suspected that the incident mighty have occurred over old enmity. The police are investigating.
Meanwhile, a youth strangled his sister for contracting free will marriage with one Muzaffar without the consent of the family here on Sunday. According to details, deceased Musarrat Bibi had eloped with the servant of her brother and contracted marriage with him one month ago. However, her brother Amir tactfully invited his sister to his home in Sher-e-Bangal Colony and strangled her to death. The Ferozewala Police are looking into the matter.
Similarly in Kasur, a young man and his mother were killed and his father sustained gunshot injuries when rivals opened fire on them here on Sunday.
As per details, the double murder incident occurred in Mauza Rao Khan on Raiwind Road where rivals gunned down Zulfiqar and his mother Parveen and critically injured his father Sadiq. The reason behind the incident is said to be old enmity over litigation.
The injured has been shifted to Lahore hospital in critical condition.  The accused managed to escape from the scene, while the police started investigation into the incident. In Sargodha, a police wireless operator was shot dead by his brother-in-law here on Sunday. As per report, Mohammad Farooq, wireless operator at Jhawarian Police Station, came to his in-laws house in village Kandan where a quarrel took place between Farooq and his brother-in-law Mohammad Khan. In the meanwhile, Mohammad Khan opened fire on him, killing him on the spot. The Shahpur Police have launched investigation while the dead body was handed over to the family after autopsy.
Meanwhile, in Toba Tek Singh, a married woman allegedly committed suicide in Chak 324/JB Paira. Deceased Maria Bibi, wife of Adnan shot herself dead with a pistol. The police have started investigation.
