Brother kills sister ‘for honour’

Rawalpindi: In an episode of honour killing, a young man riddled his sister with bullets at his house in Chak Baili Khan, on the outskirts of Rawalpindi, and fled away, the police spokesman said.

The police have taken up the case and shifted the dead body to the District Headquarters Hospital for autopsy.

The police said Tahir, 24, resident of Chak Baili Khan, was suspicious about character of his 20-year-old sister, adding that on Wednesday, he entered his house, carrying gun and sprayed her with bullets causing her death on the spot. The accused, later, managed to escape from the scene.
