A man admitted almost having his daughter killed in an honour killing after she fell in love with a man.
James O’Brien was discussing the story of a woman who was sentenced to a gang rape by a village court in India and asking how anything like that could possibly happen.
But “Simon” in Surbiton called to reveal a similar situation in his family, where his daughter fell in love and ran away with a man – so he almost arranged to have her and his family killed.
