Man saved from honour killing?

Indore: The police managed to prevent an honour killing incident by intercepting a vehicle, on Wednesday. The PCR cops of Sanyogitaganj were on duty at White Church junction when they heard help call ( save me) from a speeding Scorpio. They followed the SUV and intercepted it at Pipliyahana chauraha and found that a youth was sitting inside the vehicle surrounded by five other people.

When THE police inquired, the matter revealed to be a love affair, in which a girl of Bhanwarkua area had eloped with Hemand Boyat of New Palasia. The boy was nabbed by the family along with the girl in Omkareshwar. The family members dropped the girl at her home and were taking the boy to some location. In the vehicle, the girl’s father ( Prakash) and brother ( Vinod) along with other relatives were present besides the boy.

Several rocks and a rope were found in the vehicle thus raising the doubts that they were taking the boy for ‘ killing’. Some other suspicious materials were also recovered from the vehicle. Later, a chaos was created at the police station where the PCR had taken the Scorpio and its travelers. Here, the man’s ( Hemant) first wife also reached with their 4- year old child. His wife accused him of trying to murder her.

On the other hand, the younger daughter of Prakash was pressurising Hemant of not giving any statement against her father. SUV used in the crime.
